Sydney's first International Poetry Festival & Art Exhibition "Woman Scream aims to bring together men and women poets in various countries, to pay a fitting tribute to women and to contribute with women self-esteem and messages against violence through poetry, arts, and other manifestations. Musicians, actors, and other artists are welcome to contribute within the already programmed events to work together in favor of this noble cause.  Called from the Dominican Republic by Women Poets International Movement (Mujeres Poetas Internacional MPI), Woman Scream is a cultural activity that includes a long chain of poetic and artistic events with the participation of men and women of different generations. The festival is celebrated in commemoration of the importance of women’s role in society, and also serves as a platform for talented poetess all over the world who collaborates inside and outside the movement."
