A little about me...

Tessa Barratt grew up wedged between two nature reserves in South Africa and consequently developed a love of animals. For a period of time she wanted to be a vet, but somehow wound up becoming a full-time feminist activist instead.  After living in Africa for 18 years, she moved to the UK and obtained a degree in creative writing. She then moved to Australia where she started the not-for-profit activist and social group, The Sydney Feminists.
